Dale and Nathan Hipp were able to travel back into Haiti to reunite with many of our partners and friends, and to witness firsthand the struggles that they face there. The photos below show much of the devastation and conditions on the ground.
Pastor Luc's main facility, which had completely collapsed in the quake, was slowly being cleared. We were also able to assist with one of his ministry's feeding programs and feed more than 100 children, who unfortunately are served only twice a week. Our friend Nasson Jean Pierre continues to minister to a number of orphans and the time spent with them was a wonderful blessing.
The trip allowed us to identify the most important needs of our partners and to focus our plans for the coming months. We thank God for the blessings and support that are flowing into Haiti. There are, however, many people who are outside of the system and who desperately need help. Food is now our highest priority and we pray for God's support and blessings to fill the next container with much needed provisions, especially for the children in the orphanages. Please pray with us for the people of Haiti and for God's continued guidance in our work.
